5 star all the way! Cindy has been doing my nails for over a year now and always does a fantastic job! The staff always make me feel comfortable, put on the shows I like, and have a professional atmosphere ! I will keep coming back !!
I brought my elderly father in for a pedicure yesterday and we were so pleased with the experience. The patience and care that they showed for my dad was amazing and very much appreciated. He loved the experience and I hope to take him back soon!
Just left here totally disappointed. I have short acrylic nails (3mm past my fingertip) and went in for a fill. Fills are $35. They charged me $70 by the time I walked out. I told the women I wasn't happy. Side of my thumb nail was gouged and not straight, she said it was because I have wide nails. I asked for pink powder and she put orange. When I questioned it, she said "it's pink, it's pink, it will be pink with the top coat on it. Then when my nails were ready a base coat she put pink gel polish on first. Painted my tips (only 1 coat that in the daylight is missing spots and not a solid color, I picked dark green polish) and then asked if I wanted a thin line of silver to line the tips I said sure. She ended up charging me for extra long tips, color (the pink polish), the french tips (this I agree to), she charged me for the silver line, she charged for the pink powder instead of clear. I asked her to explain the $70 and she just giggled and laughed and typed $70 + GST into the debit machine. I told her she never explained all these extra charges before. She said she'll do it next time. I will never go back.
Had a new client come in who has been getting her nails done at this salon for several months and upon removing the gel colour I see what clearly appears to be several "rings of fire" on multiple nail beds. I asked her if she sees the same person every time and she said no so that is also very concerning. These people are clearly using wrong technique or improper tools and they are damaging people's nails.. ALL of them are. Its also worth noting that TWICE she has gone to this salon for a fill over another shops work and they happily did the work. That is pretty negligent as they dont know what has been used previously. Avoid this place.. one of these days theyre gonna drill right through someone's nail, as you can see they get very close. In the photos the acrylic layer is still on top so the red is very slightly muted and once it was removed her nails were paper thin and painful to add builder gel to. This is the 2nd client ive had come in that used to go to this salon and I really wish I got a photo of the first client as she had a pretty severe patch on her pinky finger and they almost drilled them the centre of her nail. Like tissue paper thin.. ill definitely be asking any new clients with damaged nails moving forward if they came here previously.
Been coming here for years and they never disappoint! I can’t say enough good things about this nail salon! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, amazing vibes, and that clean, cozy atmosphere that instantly makes you relax. Cindy is hands down the best nail tech I’ve ever had. I came in wanting something spooky but still cute, and she nailed it. The details are insane — little ghosts, spiderwebs, and just the right amount of sparkle. She always takes her time to make sure every design is perfect and match my vibe completely. My nails always came out even better than the pic! If you’ve been thinking about trying this place, do it — you’ll leave obsessed!
